The school caters for pupils aged 4–11 and is renowned for its nurturing ethos, committed staff, and a strong emphasis on providing a high-quality, inclusive education tailored to each child’s individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons across your year groups
- Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
- Providing targeted support to pupils with additional needs, including those with ADHD, Autism, and social/emotional challenges
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and school initiatives
- Managing classroom behaviour and supervising students during breaks, activities, and transitions
- Encouraging pupil engagement, independence, and confidence in their learning journey
Qualifications
- Proven experience teaching children or young people in a school setting
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to classroom management and pupil support
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous professional development and growth
Essential Requirements
- Passion for inspiring and empowering young learners
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- A current DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
