Overview
The Global B2B & Product Marketing organization, as part of Integrated Marketing & Communications, partners with Product, Sales & Communications and is accountable for end-to-end product marketing. This includes leveraging consumer and customer insights to identify, test and refine product concepts; positioning our solutions internally and externally; developing sales enablement and B2B2C tools; and developing, executing and scaling marketing plans globally.
The Senior Specialist, B2B & Product Marketing supports the team to create marketing solutions for customers, leverage Mastercard’s assets and marketing platforms, and deliver a consistent and differentiated consumer and stakeholder experience.
Primary Areas of Focus
- Partnering with local and global Product and Sales teams to execute marketing strategies and deliver assets for go-to-market plans for a range of solutions, with focus on bill pay and emerging payments technology.
- Crafting product positioning and value proposition articulation that reflects identified reasons to believe, is customer-need driven and competitively positioned.
- Developing robust content to power sales including scalable selling materials, case studies, B2B and B2B2C materials, videos, white papers, toolkits, and more.
- Supporting and interpreting qualitative and quantitative research on market opportunities, trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and refine product value propositions.
- Supporting related initiatives such as presence at events, social media campaigns, customer pitches, and more.
Additional Responsibilities
- Execute marketing strategies, activities and events (including advertising, promotions, sponsorships, trade shows, webinars, websites) by planning agendas and determining logistical requirements.
- Support development of creative content for marketing strategies, including thought leadership content and communication of subject matter expertise.
- Track budget for marketing programs and raise awareness when programs are not on track against budget.
- Analyze campaign performance using specified measures and evaluation metrics.
- Prepare marketing solution presentations using specified parameters.
- Provide clarifications to vendors (e.g., agencies, film production, etc.).
All About You
- Passion for emerging payments technology (e.g., crypto/blockchain, NFTs, the metaverse, open banking, future of payments tech applications).
- Demonstrated success in translating complex product and/or technical information into clear customer narratives.
- Strong skills and experience in B2B product marketing, communications both written and oral.
- Exposure to product management and product development, and experience in bringing new solutions and ideas to life from creation to execution.
- Experience developing presentations by creating content and articulating a story with a clear point of view.
- Preferred: expertise in payment industry, merchant or acquirer, payment facilitator, fintech companies, developers, and modern solutions like cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and open banking.
- Perspective to always look for potential solutions to solve problems – identify areas where resources fall short of needs and provide thoughtful and sustainable solutions to benefit the team.
- Strategic mindset with ability to make logical decisions in challenging, ambiguous situations.
- Problem solver who uses data and insights combined with ingenuity to develop ideas and deliver solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Passion for the customer and consumer experience.

- Bachelor’s degree required.
