Title and Summary
Senior Quality Assurance AnalystMastercard Prepaid Management Services (MPMS) provide end-to-end prepaid card solutions for clients and partners. We have an expanding and evolving technical platform that supports our global portfolio of prepaid card programs. Delivering innovative prepaid payments is a technology business, and we provide entire solutions for travel & transit, foreign exchange, gift and buy-now-pay-later. We consider ourselves to be Fintech enablers.
As part of the Test and Quality Assurance function the Quality Assurance Analyst will grow and champion the prepaid Quality framework, its associated processes and documentation. They will identify and drive improvement opportunities to increase the overall quality of releases coming from the engineering teams and work closely with the teams to ensure that testing covers the whole end to end solution and the supporting toolsets are being used correctly and consistently.
The Analyst will guide the teams through the Quality Governance process and ensure that the results are fed into continuous improvement activities. Key in ensuring that defects are addressed in a timely manner and that communication and reporting are consistent. One main objective is to drive down the defect rate, the analyst will be expected to help define and maintain defect triage and root cause analysis processes.
This role is reporting to the QA Manager, the Quality Analyst will be expected to escalate any issues concisely.
Role & Key Responsibilities
Defect Management & Defect root cause analysis
Support and execute Quality Assurance governance on feature deliverables
Remedy Change approver & feedback of release contents and processes
Information gathering & assessment of quality trends
Co-ordinate deep dives to address test quality and facilitate improvements
Assist in reviewing opportunities for continuous improvements of processes and procedures
Facilitate opportunities to communicate with stakeholders on quality improvement opportunities
Maintaining Browser and Device metrics for test coverage
Work closely with Data analyst & QA manager on implementing and maintaining quality metrics reporting
