Overview
Mastercard’s Open Banking Platform team is seeking a senior-level Product Manager, to help shape the next generation of Open Banking products and APIs across Europe.
Role
- Build a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends and competitor offerings in Open Banking APIs.
- Leverage this knowledge and your familiarity with the regulatory environment to help define the future of Mastercard’s Open Banking API portfolios across payment and data domains.
- Distil complex market needs into clear, actionable requirements and API contracts that drive the product development process.
- Partner with Engineering and other teams to ensure clarity and understanding and to drive successful development and delivery of high-impact product releases.
- Create high-quality developer resources to accelerate customer integration and reduce time to value.
- Be the go-to expert on Mastercard’s Open Banking APIs for the sales, implementation, and support teams and drive awareness and visibility of our Open Banking portfolio across the organization.
All About You
- Extensive experience in large-scale, fast-paced product development environments, with at least five years in a Product Manager or similar role.
- Industry expert in Payments and/or Open Banking, with a proven track record of defining API-based products and working hand-in-hand with Engineering to bring them to market.
- Technically fluent, able to document and test product APIs in critical, high-availability environments, and help customers on their integration journeys.
- Strong communicator and listener, able to influence and build trust across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- You thrive in a collaborative, global environment and are passionate about contributing to a supportive, inclusive team culture.
