b Overview /b p As a Principal Software Engineer in Mastercard’s Operations Automation Program, you lead automation and infrastructure management across on-premise and cloud environments. You’ll shape scalable DevOps across global engineering teams, champion Infrastructure as Code, and advance high-performance, cost-efficient delivery of distributed systems. This role offers impact on critical infrastructure while collaborating across product, development, and operations teams in a fast-paced, security-conscious setting. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Automate, provision and manage public and on-prem cloud infrastructure, including containerized and virtualized systems /li li Plan, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe delivery of distributed systems across global data centres /li li Collaborate across cross-functional teams to automate deployments, troubleshoot issues, and support new product initiatives /li li Champion Infrastructure as Code using Terraform Enterprise, Ansible and Chef /li li Drive observability and reliability through monitoring/logging/alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, etc.) /li li Foster continuous improvement and adopt new tools to boost efficiency, scalability and cost optimization /li li Hands-on automation coding in GoLang /li li Partner with stakeholders to align DevOps initiatives with uptime, deployment velocity, and cost efficiency /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li 10+ years in Software Engineering and DevOps roles /li li Strong Linux systems administration /li li Deep familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP /li li Experience with container orchestration/tools (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker Compose) /li li Hands-on experience with Terraform Enterprise, Ansible and Chef /li li Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) /li li Proficient in scripting/programming (Bash, Go, Python, Ruby) /li li Experience with monitoring/observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace) /li li Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration /li li Ownership mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment /li /ul ul li Excellent communication /li li ownership mindset /li li cross-functional collaboration /li li Terraform Enterprise /li li Ansible /li li Chef /li /ul
