The Vice President, Business Administration & Strategic Programs is accountable for enterprise scale program leadership, business administration, and strategic execution for the Care organization. This role operates as a senior integrator across the Care Leadership Team, ensuring alignment between strategy, operating plans, investments, and execution. The position drives disciplined delivery of large, complex initiatives while strengthening operating rigor, performance management, and leadership effectiveness across Care.
Responsibilities
- Strategy, Business Administration, and Operating Cadence
- Lead Care’s strategic planning, annual operating plans, and multi‑year roadmaps in partnership with Finance and Care Leadership.
- Own Care business administration, including planning cycles, operating rhythms, leadership forums, prioritization, and decision hygiene.
- Translate enterprise and business unit strategy into executable initiatives with clear scope, milestones, dependencies, and success measures.
- Ensure alignment between strategic priorities, funding, capacity, and execution sequencing.
- Program & Portfolio Leadership
- Own delivery of large, cross‑functional, and high‑impact programs across Care and adjacent organizations.
- Establish and enforce execution discipline through standard governance, metrics, and inspection mechanisms.
- Optimize execution methodologies, tooling, and resource models to improve predictability, speed, and outcomes.
- Manage multiple complex initiatives concurrently, adjusting priorities as business needs evolve.
- Performance Management & Accountability
- Define, monitor, and improve Care and departmental KPIs and scorecards.
- Use data and insights to drive corrective actions, trade‑offs, and continuous improvement.
- Actively inspect delivery plans, execution metrics, and risks; intervene where performance deviates from expectations.
- Lead escalations and resolution across organizational and leadership levels.
- Business & Architectural Expertise
- Maintain deep understanding of the Care business model, operating architecture, platforms, integration patterns, and enterprise capabilities.
- Leverage company‑wide assets to design scalable, efficient solutions to customer and operational challenges.
- Evaluate decisions for downstream impact across processes, technology, controls, employee experience, and customer outcomes.
- Risk Management & Foresight
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities affecting program outcomes, operating health, or strategic objectives.
