Overview
In this role, you will manage High Risk Acquirer performance within the Franchise function in Asia Pacific, helping prevent, detect, and remediate risk. You will serve as the primary interface with customers and cross-functional teams on fraud, compliance, and performance metrics. You will design reports, advise on performance improvements, and lead consulting engagements to optimize acquirer performance. You will collaborate to manage specialty merchants and translate fraud trends into actions for product, customers, and regulators. This is an opportunity to shape risk management and growth at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design internal and external reports to identify underperformance requiring action
- Engage with customers on performance issues and rule violations
- Sell and deliver consulting engagements for acquirer performance optimization (trainings, projects, reviews)
- Collaborate within Franchise to improve engagements and manage specialty merchants
- Identify fraud trends and share leads with product teams, customers, associations and regulators
Key requirements
- Fraud management experience in card payments and transaction processing
- Knowledge of scheme rules and Mastercard standards; experience with acquirers on fraud and merchant compliance
- Experience selling acquiring risk tools and solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present at business and technical levels
