Based in London, UK, the VP, Healthcare Commercial Payments will report to the SVP, Healthcare Commercial Payments within Mastercard’s Commercial and New Payment Flows product group (CNPF). The VP will be responsible for executing Mastercard’s healthcare strategy across markets outside the U.S. This includes identifying and prioritizing specific markets and payment flows, and developing and delivering revenue generating opportunities. To do so, you will be empowered to drive adoption of existing products, support the development of new products, and form strategic partnerships.

Role

  • Spearhead the expansion of Mastercard healthcare commercial payments business outside the U.S.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with healthcare ecosystem partners, platforms, fintechs, and other players to fill product and capability gaps or to enhance the value proposition of existing Mastercard products.
  • Work closely with regional teams and other product teams around the organization to develop and commercialize products and solutions that can scale in healthcare.
  • Participate directly in business development and go-to-market with external customers.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for healthcare within Mastercard and evangelize healthcare as a strategic priority.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and thought leadership for the current healthcare team outside of the U.S.
  • Provide thought leadership, consultancy, and input to senior teams around Mastercard.
  • Drive an outcomes-driven, high-performance culture that takes thoughtful risks.

All About You

  • Must thrive in making decisions with imperfect information on behalf of serious people who will hold you accountable, and willing to risk being wrong.
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare markets outside the U.S. is a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive outcomes from top of funnel to revenue generation in healthcare and/or technology business development in markets outside the U.S. a must.
  • Strong general business and financial acumen, with ability to translate strategy into execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and partner with senior stakeholders as well as external customers and clients.
  • Experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams to deliver tangible results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to lead presentations with senior stakeholders.
  • Cultural comfort, experience, and language skills in emerging markets a strong plus.
