MTS Overview
Mastercard Transaction Services (MTS) manages legal entities for current licensed money transfer services and future regulated activities.
It supports payment institution/lender licenses, cross-border account-to-account payments, crypto designs, Open Banking, settlement accounts, compliance (real‑time sanctions, AML, fraud), and regulatory reporting.
Role
Work closely with product lines to evaluate opportunities to expand proposed products into regulated activities facilitated by MTS; design new products and enhancements, document design, assess impact, engage stakeholders, and support a multi‑rail strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions for regulated market products using a data‑driven approach; support product go‑to‑market.
- Define requirements from product lines and translate them into clear formats for diverse stakeholder groups.
- Bring functional areas along the journey, support understanding of new products or enhancements.
- Organise and lead workshops to develop solutions.
- Develop solution documents (assumptions, activities, costs).
- Prepare materials to facilitate senior‑management decision‑making.
- Provide SME guidance and product line advocacy for solutions in execution.
- Support building repeatable, scalable processes for market expansion, functional processes, and direct‑to‑scheme expansion.
- Improve intake processes for product lines and MTS functional areas.
- Own operational process expansion and design new operations for MTS as enterprise assets.
- Support development of future‑state functional‑service design.
