The Director, Mastercard Send, Product Development, will own and deliver on Send product strategy in partnership with Global and Regional Product Management, Core Network, and functional teams.
Responsibilities- Engage customers, regional product, functional stakeholders and identify product development and innovation needs.
- Own the product lifecycle including product design, creation of business and functional requirements, and on-going product development.
- Partner with cross-functional global stakeholder team (Product Strategy, Product Management, Regional Product Sales, Product Delivery and Account Management) to define and shape new opportunities.
- Lead and manage a team of product managers responsible for delivery of on-going product development initiatives.
- Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices; ensure confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; report any suspected information security violation or breach; complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines.
- Product development experience; preferred knowledge of real-time payments, money transfer, and remittances.
- Familiarity with payment data standards; preferred knowledge of Mastercard authorization, clearing, and settlement.
- Extensive product management and development experience in the global payment industry with preferred knowledge and background in Real Time Payments, money transfer and remittances.
- Knowledge of payments data standards and preferred knowledge of Mastercard authorization, clearing and settlement systems and processes.
- Established business technical expertise in the development of integrated product solutions spanning multiple products/platforms.
- Demonstrated leadership in taking accountability, acting with a sense of urgency, and delivering plans with passion, ambition and aptitude.
- Proven organization and thought leadership skills with ability to build, lead, and maintain strong, productive teams and working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and work independently under pressure and with limited supervision.
- Strong business acumen coupled with a customer focus and analytical skills.
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels and team with internal and external partners and communicate technical designs in a business-friendly way.
- Competitive base salary, may be eligible for annual bonus or commissions.
- Base salary ranges: O'Fallon, Missouri – $179,000 - $305,000 USD; Purchase, New York – $206,000 - $351,000 USD.
- Insurance (medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life), flexible spending account and health savings account.
- Paid leaves: 16 weeks of new parent leave, up to 20 days of bereavement leave, 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days.
