Overview
As Director, Finance Business Partner, you will drive end-to-end deal processes for Global Partnerships, combining financial modelling, governance, and cross-functional leadership. You will steer large, complex agreements from opportunity assessment through approval, ensuring strategic fit and profitability. You collaborate with regions, business units, and external partners to unlock growth while upholding risk controls and policy alignment. This role offers impact across markets, shaping partnership strategies and driving measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Support creation, review, and approval of business development opportunities
- Lead and govern strategic deal structuring for customer proposals
- Manage large, complex and non-traditional deals with risk-aware escalation
- Drive financial modelling and robust scenario analysis for business cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to grow merchant and digital ecosystem partnerships
- Coordinate with regional and global stakeholders to align deal processes and compliance
- Provide training and advisory support on financial modelling and business case development
- Oversee deal review and approval to ensure alignment with strategic and financial goals
- Negotiate and finalize agreements balancing risk and Mastercard interests
- Ensure regional alignment and updates to BD procedures and workflows
