Overview

As a Business Development Manager in Fintech and Digital Partnerships, you will bring new fintech and digital partners to Mastercard and expand revenue opportunities across multiple verticals.

You’ll build strategic relationships and work with cross-functional teams to explore Mastercard’s product and service set.

The role is focused on UK & Ireland, managing a robust sales pipeline, and shaping partnerships that enable secure, innovative payments solutions.

You will operate in a high-growth, strategic area that underpins Mastercard’s digital payments ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the UK & Ireland Fintech and Digital Partners strategy
  • Maintain and grow a robust sales pipeline with cross-functional coordination
  • Prospect new fintech and digital partners via cold outreach, networks, and events
  • Collaborate with Product, Customer Solutions Centre, and account management teams to explore opportunities
  • Manage own business development pipeline and customer portfolio
  • Build an external fintech and digital partners network
  • Prepare for and lead new business conversations with decision makers
  • Analyze prospects’ proposition, revenue model, and plans to identify Mastercard opportunities (issuing, acceptance, security, data/services, remittances, open banking, processing)
  • Develop financial models and business cases to support new business plans
  • Support contract process and deal execution efficiency
  • Assist in ongoing relationships with government, regulators, and industry bodies
  • Ensure opportunities are tracked in Salesforce with up-to-date information
  • Provide best-in-class relationship management for portfolio customers
