Role of the Director, Technical Program Manager (Scrum Master/Team Coach): Vocalink is looking for an experienced Scrum Master/Team Coach to lead within an Agile SAFe environment, guiding a group of Scrum Masters who support Agile Release Train teams or independent Agile Teams. The role focuses on providing guidance, support and development for Scrum Masters/Team Coaches to help teams meet delivery goals, ensuring Lean and Agile principles are followed to improve speed and quality of delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Embody a Lean-Agile mindset and model Lean thinking and Agile Manifesto values in daily interactions.
- Demonstrate SAFe Core Values and guide others to adopt these beliefs.
- Internalise and demonstrate SAFe Principles to Scrum Masters/Team Coaches.
- Champion Continuous Improvement and maintain the Enterprise-level improvement backlog to support best practices.
- Lead the Scrum Masters’ Community of Practice to strengthen skills and knowledge sharing.
- Support Scrum Masters to complete Competency Assessments and mature Agile Team proficiency.
- Collaborate with VMO and APMO governance practices to identify training and coaching needs for Scrum Masters/Team Coaches.
- Influence senior stakeholders on Lean-Agile leadership behaviours.
- Guide Scrum Masters/Team Coaches to use data tools to analyse flow and identify opportunities to improve value delivery across teams and the ART.
- Introduce systems to visualize work, manage Work in Progress, and improve Flow with appropriate metrics and accelerators.
- Lead discussions to improve value flow, visualize value streams and remove impediments; foster a flow-oriented mindset through coaching and conversations.
