Residential HVAC Warranty Technician – Tom Drexler Plumbing, Air & Electric
Location: Louisville, KY (Branch Location)
Work Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Weekend availability required
Compensation: $28–$35 per hour (DOE) + Commission Opportunities
Reports To: HVAC Service Manager

What You’ll Do
- Conduct warranty-related HVAC installations and repairs per manufacturer specifications and company standards
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues with installed systems
- Replace defective components and parts under warranty to ensure full system functionality
- Document all work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions
- Communicate warranty coverage, repair processes, and preventive maintenance recommendations to customers
- Collaborate with team members and departments to complete warranty tasks on time
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including company vehicle and tools
- Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA standards
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- EPA Certification
- Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Preferred:
- Additional HVAC certifications or licenses
- Experience specifically in warranty repair and documentation
