Leading and managing the UK HR team, you will shape and drive the HR agenda at country level, acting as a strategic partner to local leadership while ensuring alignment with global priorities. This is an end-to-end role, covering delivery to team management to strategy, and reports to the Regional Head of HR (who is also UK-based).
How you will create impact:
- HR Strategy & Leadership: Partner with country leadership to define and execute the local HR strategy, aligned with global objectives and business priorities.
- HR Business Partnering: Continue to build and strengthen a high-impact HR Business Partnering approach within the country, ensuring close alignment with business needs and enabling leaders to drive performance, engagement, and growth.
- End-to-End Talent Management: Lead and oversee the full employee lifecycle, including evaluation cycles, workforce planning, supporting UK recruiters, onboarding, development, and retention.
- Staffing & Workforce Planning: Oversee the staffing function, managing the Staffing Manager and ensuring strong alignment between staffing decisions and HR business partnering priorities.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across all UK HR-related matters.
- Separations & Offboarding: Manage employee relations topics and ensure structured, compliant offboarding processes.
- Compensation & Benefits: Provide country-level inputs to compensation processes, ensuring alignment with company frameworks.
- Governance, Policies & Compliance: Deploy and embed Group HR policies, standards, and approaches within the local market, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
- Group HR Enablement: Maximise the leverage of Group HR offerings, tools, and programmes to ensure maximum impact and consistency for UK-based staff.
- Health & Safety: Input to health and safety standards and compliance within the country.
- Reporting: Leverage HR data, analytics and AI tools to generate insights to support decision making by local leadership.
Your profile:
- Strong combination of strategic thinking and operational excellence.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR Business Partnering within a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience within a professional services environment (e.g. consulting, law, private equity).
- Proven track record of managing a high-performing team delivering end-to-end HR processes.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ability to translate legal requirements into practical HR policies.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems and digital tools; experience with data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and service-driven.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex topics independently.
