We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to help grow our Global Talent and Career Management (TCM) team. We are open to this role on a remote basis with occasional in-office presence as well as considering candidates to be based in our London office. Together with the Global Director Talent & Career Management, the role will help successfully implement the talent management strategy in support of our fast-paced strategic growth plan. At Simon-Kucher, Talent Management covers the cyclical Performance Review Process, as well as the overall development and career planning. We interface primarily with the HR Policies, Rewards & Benefits and Learning and Skills Development departments.
How you will create impact:
- Collaboration with senior stakeholders: Working closely with the Global Director Talent & Career Management to drive talent strategy and support organizational initiatives, you will also partner with senior stakeholders in the Business and Central Functions to understand priorities and guide the creation of integrated structures (e.g., aligned performance, staffing, and development processes, clear career frameworks, and feedback loops) that drive a best-in-class people experience and a high-performing culture.
- Partner with local HR: Working together to operationally execute high-impact talent management practices such as all aspects of the formal talent review cycle, and the performance management processes for Consultants and Central Functions; this includes managing the overall timeline, preparing all necessary documentation, facilitating performance assessment and calibration meetings, and closing out the process.
- Act as the TCM liaison: In the local market, you will be consulting internal stakeholders in the business on talent strategy solutions and best practices.
- Training and development: Design and develop modern career paths for Consultants and Central Functions. You will also deliver local and global training on performance management and development processes (including tools), as well as broader talent management topics, to ensure consistent and high-quality execution across the firm. You will also be responsible for implementing programs that promote employee career and professional development and increase the overall effectiveness of individual roles and responsibilities.
- Team partnership and improvement: Work in close partnership with the Global Learning and Skills Development team to help assess skills-based learning needs and develop content to fill potential gaps. Seek ways to continuously improve our talent programs that drive measurable results and onboard new team members as the Global Talent Management team grows.
