The School is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and reflective Primary Teacher, for a maternity post, to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is passionate about making a positive difference in children's lives.
The Role
- Planning and delivering creative, challenging, and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Using a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform teaching
- Differentiating learning to meet the diverse needs of pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
- Creating a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and promoting positive attitudes to learning
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to year group and whole-school initiatives
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers
- Upholding the school's safeguarding policies and procedures
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it
- Has a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning in the primary phase
- Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical practice
- Is committed to inclusive education and high expectations for all pupils
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Is reflective, resilient, and eager to develop professionally
- Is able to contribute positively to the wider life of the school
