The School is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and reflective Primary Teacher, for a maternity post, to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is passionate about making a positive difference in children's lives.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering creative, challenging, and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Using a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform teaching
  • Differentiating learning to meet the diverse needs of pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
  • Creating a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and promoting positive attitudes to learning
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to year group and whole-school initiatives
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers
  • Upholding the school's safeguarding policies and procedures

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it
  • Has a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning in the primary phase
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical practice
  • Is committed to inclusive education and high expectations for all pupils
  • Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Is reflective, resilient, and eager to develop professionally
  • Is able to contribute positively to the wider life of the school
