We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded and inclusive secondary school in Crawley that is seeking a compassionate and motivated Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated support team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and the SEN/inclusion team to provide in-class and one-to-one support to students with a range of needs. You’ll help ensure that all pupils – particularly those with SEND or who require additional academic or emotional support – are fully included in school life and able to make good progress.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support students in and out of lessons to access the curriculum and reach their learning goals

* Work alongside teachers to deliver targeted interventions and differentiated tasks

* Provide one-to-one or small group support where required

* Foster positive relationships with students and help manage classroom behaviour

* Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and activities

* Contribute to student progress monitoring and feedback

* Promote the school’s values of inclusion, respect, and achievement

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Experience working with children or young people (in school, youth work, or care roles)

* A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting learning

* Good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills

* An understanding of SEND or xiskglj a willingness to learn

* The ability to work effectively as part of a team

* A genuine interest in education and young people’s development
