Are you a passionate and dedicated educator looking to make a real difference in the lives of children? We are seeking an enthusiastic Supply Teacher to join the masterclass team in secondary schools across both East and West Sussex. Whether you're an experienced SEN specialist or a mainstream teacher excited to step into a more specialist role, we’d love to hear from you!
As part of your journey with us, Masterclass Education offers access to a suite of CPD-accredited online training, covering topics such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more.
The Role:
- Deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to pupils’ individual EHCPs
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate with TAs, therapists, and families to provide holistic care
- Monitor and report on pupil progress, contributing to annual reviews
- Promote independence, confidence, and social development
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Experience or genuine interest in working with children
- A creative, patient, and adaptable teaching style
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Commitment to inclusive education and pupil well-being
Essential Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong passion to support and empower children and young people
- A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- A firm commitment to safeguarding and child protection
