The Role:
- Deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to pupils' individual EHCPs
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate with TAs, therapists, and families to provide holistic care
- Monitor and report on pupil progress, contributing to annual reviews
- Promote independence, confidence, and social development
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Experience or genuine interest in working with children with SEN
- A creative, patient, and adaptable teaching style
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Commitment to inclusive education and pupil well-being
Essential Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong passion to support and empower children and young people
- A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- A firm commitment to safeguarding and child protection
