The Role:
- As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learning and development throughout the school day. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting a wide range of students across various year groups
- Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Providing tailored support to pupils with additional needs, including ADHD, Autism, and social/emotional challenges
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Supervising students during breaks, activities, and transitions
- Promoting pupil engagement, independence, and confidence
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in the role
Essential Requirements:
- Passion for supporting and empowering young learners
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with staff
- A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
