We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales and cultivate strong customer relationships within the Scotland region. This role is crucial for expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets for our advanced construction chemical solutions.
Responsibilities
- The main focus for this role is to deliver profitable sales growth of concrete admixture systems in the construction market in Scotland, to achieve sales and strategy targets in line with the area business plan.
- You will be responsible for building strong relationships with new customers, whilst also maintaining relationships with existing customers.
- Utilise your in-depth technical knowledge of concrete and our product range, to offer innovative solutions that enhance our customers' products and drive sales growth.
- Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager, and other colleagues, you will support our key national accounts in your territory.
- You will also be expected to work closely with the Watertight & UGC teams to identify and develop opportunities.
- Additionally, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all processes are complied with to ensure our customer service and safety targets are met.
What We're Looking For
- You will have a sound technical understanding of concrete to support customers in the development of existing products and future innovations.
- Previous experience with technical-based enquiries within a construction sales role is preferred.
- To be able to build and maintain strong professional relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confidently engaging across diverse environments.
- You will have a strong commercial mindset, supported by a solid understanding of the construction industry and the local market.
- A full, valid UK driving licence is essential due to the travel requirements of the role.
