Key Responsibilities
- Conduct precise analysis of concrete and mortar using advanced techniques in the laboratory, at customer production facilities, and on construction sites.
- Support the Sales Team and regional market unit by providing expert advice on product selection and performance to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Oversee a laboratory team of 3 members, planning and prioritising workloads to align with the technical support strategy.
- Identify customer expectations and ensure work complies with statutory legislation and internal standards.
- Ensure all analyses are completed on time, contributing to the development and promotion of new construction technologies to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and implement innovative lab processes to ensure projects and trials meet company standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a concrete testing laboratory or within the construction sector.
- Prior managerial experience highly desirable.
- Ideally a degree in a science or maths‑related field.
- In‑depth knowledge of concrete and general understanding of construction materials.
- Strong communication, customer service, proactive learning and problem‑solving skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and a proactive approach to Health & Safety.
- Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to analyse and interpret data effectively.
- Full UK driving licence and right to work within the UK.
