Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct precise analysis of concrete and mortar using advanced techniques in the laboratory, at customer production facilities, and on construction sites.
  • Support the Sales Team and regional market unit by providing expert advice on product selection and performance to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee a laboratory team of 3 members, planning and prioritising workloads to align with the technical support strategy.
  • Identify customer expectations and ensure work complies with statutory legislation and internal standards.
  • Ensure all analyses are completed on time, contributing to the development and promotion of new construction technologies to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and implement innovative lab processes to ensure projects and trials meet company standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a concrete testing laboratory or within the construction sector.
  • Prior managerial experience highly desirable.
  • Ideally a degree in a science or maths‑related field.
  • In‑depth knowledge of concrete and general understanding of construction materials.
  • Strong communication, customer service, proactive learning and problem‑solving skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and a proactive approach to Health & Safety.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to analyse and interpret data effectively.
  • Full UK driving licence and right to work within the UK.
