Technical Delivery Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead and coordinate the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex digital, technology, or change initiatives. You will ensure alignment with organisational strategy, regulatory priorities, and transformation goals while promoting Agile and DevSecOps practices in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage delivery roadmaps for assigned portfolios or programmes.
• Lead and coach multi-disciplinary teams for effective collaboration and capability building.
• Oversee governance, budgets, risks, dependencies, and reporting to maintain delivery confidence.
• Embed Agile, Lean, DevSecOps, and user-centred design principles across delivery teams.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and technically sound, collaborating with architecture leads.
• Engage senior stakeholders and manage vendor relationships for aligned delivery outcomes.
• Use data-driven insights to track performance, value realisation, and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering complex digital or technology programmes in regulated environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical audiences.
• Expertise in Agile delivery, governance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to analyse data, manage dependencies, and drive informed decision-making.
• Experience managing budgets and multiple interdependent workstreams.

Preferred

• Background in financial services, regulation, or public sector environments.
• Familiarity with regulated data, digital platforms, cloud/hybrid environments, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with user-centred design, product thinking, and service-oriented delivery.
• Certification in recognised project/delivery frameworks (e.g., PRINCE2 Agile, Scrum, SAFe).
