Mastek is looking for an experienced International Cyber Security Senior Advisor to join our growing cyber practice and play a key role in strengthening cyber resilience across global programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the intersection of cyber advisory, risk management, and international delivery, supporting clients across multiple jurisdictions.
The International Cyber Security Senior Advisor will lead the delivery of cyber resilience advisory and technical support across international programmes, ensuring services are aligned to best practice, client requirements and regulatory expectations. The role combines client engagement, workstream leadership, cyber risk and control assessment, incident management support, reporting, and coordination across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.
Key responsibilities:- Lead delivery of cyber resilience advisory engagements across areas such as governance, risk, information assurance, technical controls, incident management, emerging technologies and regulatory alignment.
- Conduct and oversee cyber maturity reviews, risk assessments, control assessments and remediation planning using frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, Cyber Essentials, CAF and NIS.
- Support the design and review of cyber resilience operating models, governance structures, reporting packs and improvement roadmaps.
- Coordinate day‑to‑day delivery across service orders, including planning, quality review, stakeholder engagement, progress reporting and risk management.
- Support international deployments, site visits and culturally sensitive client engagement activities.
- Contribute to incident response planning, incident management exercises, lessons learned reviews and resilience improvement actions.
- Mentor junior team members and provide review and quality assurance for analyst and SME outputs.
- Support account management, including change control, service evolution and rapid resource replacement where required.
- Degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science or a related discipline; Master’s degree desirable.
- Significant experience in cyber advisory, risk, compliance, assurance or resilience delivery within government, regulated or international environments.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, UK NIS, Cyber Essentials and broader cyber resilience principles.
- Experience in client reporting, stakeholder management and multi‑workstream delivery.
- Strong written, analytical and presentation skills.
- CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor, CRISC, CISA or equivalent.
- Knowledge of incident management, business continuity or operational resilience practices.
- Experience supporting overseas delivery or international cyber programmes.
- Eligible for BPSS as a minimum; CTC or SC eligibility desirable for government assignments.
- Willingness to travel internationally where required.
