Location: Leeds, UK – 3 Days travel to Office – MANDATORY
The Test Lead will take on responsibility for the end-to-end coordination and governance of testing across the Register programme. This will include co-ordination across the entirety of the new platform, including the frontend, APIs, and Data Lake. Specifically, this will include planning, overseeing and management of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
The individual will ensure all testing phases, from unit testing through to User Acceptance Testing (UAT), are delivered according to the Digital Register Portfolio Testing Strategy and plan, reporting against defined quality, security, and performance standards. All testing evidence will need to be collated and reported up through the governance processes.
Essential Personal Attributes:- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to manage and influence diverse groups (Developers, Business Sponsors, Project Managers, Security Teams, and external vendors like DDH and Zoocha) to achieve consensus and secure mandatory signoffs.
- Planning & Organisation: Advanced skills in creating, maintaining, and tracking complex testing schedules, resources, and dependencies across parallel testing streams.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate testing status, risks, and technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous focus on documentation, ensuring all governance records, test cases, and sign-off paperwork are accurately completed as per the plan.
- Proactive Risk Management: The ability to anticipate potential blockers related to environment stability, data readiness, and vendor dependencies, and proactively mitigate them to keep the testing timeline on track.
