We’re seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer for one of our BFSI customers.
We are looking for a senior developer with the following skills and experience:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills key for working in DevOps culture with the ability to guide team members, when needed should have a growth mindset.
- Core AWS Services: Proficiency/understanding of key AWS services such as S3, Athena, Glue, Lambda, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, CloudFormation, API Gateway, ECS, CloudWatch.
- Programming and Core Services: Fluency in Kotlin/Java, NodeJS, TypeScript.
- Databases: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
- Security: Strong understanding of security principles within the AWS environment, including RBAC and the principle of least privilege, storing credentials securely using Secrets Manager/KMS, and handling sensitive data such as email addresses and tokens securely.
- CI/CD: Building and managing continuous integration and delivery pipelines is a key skill. Experience with Git and GitHub Actions.
- Workflow Management: Understanding of services like Amazon Step Functions to implement complex workflows.
- Desirable: Experience of working with Docker and ECS. Good understanding of DevOps / DevSecOps concepts.
- Other Skills: Familiarity with tools like Datadog and the Angular framework.

- UK Citizen, ILR, Dependent Visa Holders (Open to sponsor if living in UK).
- 3 days mandatory work from Leeds Client Site.
