We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition professional with proven experience delivering permanent and contract hiring, supported by a strong working knowledge of IR35 legislation. This role will manage end-to-end recruitment within an internal TA function, partnering closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to deliver compliant, high-quality hiring outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end in-house recruitment for permanent and contract roles, from role scoping through to offer and onboarding.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on perm vs contract hiring strategies.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of Recruitment.
  • Lead direct sourcing efforts using job boards, referrals, LinkedIn, and talent pooling.
  • Manage recruitment agencies, including briefing, performance management, and rate negotiations.
  • Ensure all hiring activity complies with UK employment law, IR35 regulations, and internal governance.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data in ATS and provide regular hiring updates and reports.
  • Support onboarding processes, right-to-work checks, and background screening.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven in-house recruitment experience within a corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrable experience managing both permanent and contract hiring.
  • Hands-on experience and strong understanding of IR35 legislation and contractor engagement models.
  • Experience working with PSCs, umbrella companies, and recruitment agencies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using ATS and recruitment systems.

Desirable

  • Experience in IT, Digital, Technology, or professional services hiring.
  • Experience working in regulated environments.
  • Exposure to contingent workforce governance or audits.
