Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Agile Coach with expertise in DevOps practices to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in coaching teams on agile methodologies and integrating DevOps ways of working. This role involves guiding teams in adopting agile practices, embedding DevOps culture, and using metrics to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor software development teams in agile methodologies to enhance their performance and deliver high-quality software.
- Integrate DevOps principles and practices within the teams to foster a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous delivery.
- Utilize metrics to assess team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of agile and DevOps practices across the organization.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate teams on agile and DevOps best practices.
- Support teams in identifying and overcoming obstacles to agile and DevOps adoption.
- Promote a culture of transparency, feedback, and continuous learning within the teams.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Work closely with leadership to align agile and DevOps initiatives with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor\\\’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as an Agile Coach with a strong understanding of agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.
- In-depth knowledge of DevOps practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using metrics to drive performance improvements and decision-making.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar.
- Certification in Agile Coaching, Scrum Master, or DevOps.
