Job Summary
The Digital Commerce & Experience Architect will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and cost-optimized AWS solutions focused on Amazon Connect and Cloud Financial Management (FinOps) Budgets. The role involves partnering with business and technology stakeholders to architect customer‑centric digital experiences, optimize cloud spend, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Candidate must have relevant experience of 12 to 15 Years.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end AWS-based digital commerce and experience solutions leveraging Amazon Connect and related AWS services.
- Design and implement Amazon Connect contact center architectures that support omnichannel customer engagement, high availability, and scalability.
- Define and implement AWS Cloud Financial Management (FinOps) strategies using Budgets and cost management tools to optimize cloud usage and spend.
- Translate business requirements into secure, resilient, and reusable architecture patterns and reference implementations on AWS.
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to shape solution roadmaps and technical designs.
- Establish and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and governance for AWS Amazon Connect and FinOps Budgets implementations.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development, operations, and support teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Conduct architecture reviews, performance assessments, and cost optimization analyses for existing AWS workloads.
- Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, and data protection requirements appropriate for the United Kingdom market and enterprise policies.
- Prepare and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and design artifacts for all key solutions.
- Support migration and modernization initiatives to move legacy contact center and financial management capabilities to AWS-based architectures.
- Mentor junior architects and technical team members in AWS architecture, Amazon Connect, and FinOps practices.
- Engage with vendors and AWS representatives to stay current with platform capabilities and incorporate relevant innovations into solution designs.

Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience as an Architect designing solutions on AWS for digital commerce, customer experience, or contact center environments.
- Hands‑on expertise with AWS Amazon Connect, including configuration, integration, and performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud Financial Management (FinOps), specifically AWS Budgets and cost management tools.
- Solid understanding of AWS core services (compute, storage, networking, security, monitoring) and their integration with Amazon Connect and FinOps solutions.
- Experience designing secure, compliant architectures aligned with industry standards and organizational policies.
- Proficiency in creating architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with automation, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD practices for deploying and managing AWS solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner - FinOps focus) are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of digital customer journeys, user experience considerations, and how they influence solution architecture.
