We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong engineering background and proven experience leading technical development programs to deliver innovative products. Key Responsibilities: Lead multi-phase technical development projects from planning through hardware builds, managing diverse cross-functional teams. Serve as both a program manager and a technical contributor, actively involved in design and development. Ensure projects meet established milestones, quality standards, and cost targets. Utilize project management software such as MS Project, Jira, or ClickUp to track progress and coordinate activities. Engage with customers as needed; minimal travel may be required for high-value in-person meetings. Required Qualifications: Degree in Optical or Mechanical Engineering; Graduate degree preferred Certification in Project Management is preferred but not required Previous experience with managing programs or hardware development/builds is a must Experience with technical software relevant to engineering background (i.e. CAD, Raytracing, PCB design, etc.) Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) are required Hands-on work and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time Technical Skills: Deep understanding of optics, mechanics, opto-electronics, or opto-mechanics.
