Job Description
One of our prestigious clients is seeking a highly skilled Payment SolutionArchitect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, andfuture-ready payment systems for a fast-growing FinTech company.
This role will work closely with engineering, compliance,and product teams to architect end-to-end payment solutions, includingcard processing, digital wallets, real-time payments, and cross-bordertransactions.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designingenterprise-grade payment infrastructures and integrating open banking, APIs, and third-party payment providers.
Job Responsibilities
- Designand oversee architecture of digital payment solutions and platforms
- Integratereal-time payment rails (Faster Payments, SEPA, SWIFT, ACH)
- Collaboratewith product and development teams to deliver API-based payment services
- Ensurecompliance with PCI DSS, PSD2, AML, and otherregulations
- Developsolution blueprints, data flow diagrams, and integration frameworks
- Selectand manage third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, Worldpay)
- Drivescalability, availability, and security in all payment solution designs
- Troubleshootand resolve architecture-related challenges across systems
- Staycurrent with emerging trends in FinTech, blockchain, and digitalfinance
Requirements
Required Skills
- Deepknowledge of digital payment ecosystems, architectures, andtechnologies
- Expertisein payment gateway integration, tokenisation, and frauddetection systems
- Strongunderstanding of ISO 20022, EMV, NFC, and 3DSecure protocols
- Familiaritywith cloud-native architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Abilityto document and present technical concepts to stakeholders clearly
Desired Skills
- Experiencewith real-time payment systems and blockchain-based solutions
- Hands-oncoding experience with Java, Python, or Node.js
- TOGAFor AWS Solution Architect certification preferred
- Knowledgeof financial data orchestration and embedded finance architectures
