We are seeking a highly skilled Computational Biologist for our clients to support data-driven research and discovery within a biotechnology-focused organisation. This role involves developing and applying computational models, algorithms, and analytical pipelines to interpret complex biological datasets. The successful candidate will work closely with bioinformatics, data scientists, and wet-lab researchers to drive scientific insight and innovation.
Job Responsibility
- Develop and apply computational models and algorithms for biological data analysis
- Analyse large-scale genomic, transcriptomics, proteomic, or multi-omics datasets
- Collaborate with wet-lab scientists to translate experimental data into actionable insights
- Design, optimise, and maintain reproducible analysis pipelines
- Document methodologies and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements

- Strong background in computational biology or quantitative life sciences
- Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages
- Experience analysing large-scale biological or omics datasets
- Strong statistical and analytical problem-solving skills
