St. Margaret’s Church of England Junior School is seeking a values-driven and aspirational Headteacher to lead the next phase of its development within Medway Anglican Schools Trust (MAST). This is a rare opportunity to lead a flourishing junior school where high expectations, strong relationships and Christian values underpin daily life.
We are looking for a leader who combines strategic clarity with warmth and moral purpose — someone committed to ensuring every pupil thrives academically, socially and spiritually throughout their Key Stage 2 journey. You will have full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the school, building on strong foundations to secure continued improvement in teaching, learning and pupil outcomes.
You will foster an inclusive, nurturing culture where staff are supported to grow, pupils are challenged to achieve their best, and faith is lived out through compassion, integrity and ambition. As part of Medway Anglican Schools Trust, you will benefit from professional collaboration, challenge and support, while retaining the school’s distinctive identity and close links with its local church and community.
This role also offers opportunities to contribute to Trust-wide development and system leadership. We welcome applications from leaders with successful senior leadership experience, a strong track record of improving outcomes, and a commitment to leading within a distinctively Christian context.
Closing date: 25 February 2026. Informal visits and conversations are warmly encouraged. If you are ready to lead with courage, compassion and clarity, we would love to hear from you.
