We are currently recruiting for a Utility Team Member for a dual role as a Class 1 Multi Drop Driver and a Farm‑Saved Seed Assistant for our site close to Micheldever Station, Winchester. As a Utility Team Member, you will have a varied role, spending part of the year as a Class 1 Multi‑Drop Driver within our Logistics team and the other part as a Farm‑Saved Seed (FSS) Assistant, servicing customers across our farm‑saved seed area. Both roles require a strong focus on customer service and professionalism.
In this role, you will:
- As an FSS Assistant – Travel to farms, operate seed cleaning and treatment machinery, and work closely with customers to meet their requirements.
- As a Multi‑Drop Driver – Deliver agricultural products across the region, ensuring safe and timely transport. Load and unload goods with care, maintaining accuracy in deliveries, complete vehicle checks and comply with transport legislation and safety requirements.
Please note: The driving element will come with occasional nights‑away. This could be anywhere up to 50 per year as an absolute maximum.
What You’ll Bring:
- A full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence – or a willingness to train towards it if you meet other role criteria.
- A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional approach.
- Practical experience in agriculture or farming is highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of machinery and mechanical skills.
- ADR and forklift licences are beneficial, but training will be provided.
