We are looking to employ a Technology Trials Manager for a hybrid position, with regular travel required to our Throws Farm site and beyond. We are now seeking a Technology Trials Manager to join our Agri-Tech team. Reporting to the Technical Manager, this role will focus on the testing, trialing and development of digital technologies and product innovations across Agrii's Southern Digital Technology Farm and Technology Centre network. This is a varied role combining field trials, technology evaluation, stakeholder engagement and knowledge transfer, helping to bridge the gap between innovation and practical on-farm application.

What you'll do:

  • Design, manage and deliver technology and innovation focused field trials and case studies across Agrii's Digital Technology Farm and Technology Centre network.
  • Coordinate data collection, analysis and reporting, ensuring high-quality insights are generated from trials and technology evaluations.
  • Support practical field operations including site selection, trial establishment, assessments, sampling and harvest activities.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for new applications across the business.
  • Build and maintain relationships with technology providers, suppliers, customers and industry stakeholders.
  • Operate and support drone activities in line with Agrii's operating procedures and safety standards.
  • Present findings and recommendations through customer meetings, open days, technical events and internal knowledge transfer activities.
  • Work closely with technical, commercial and R&D teams to ensure innovations are effectively assessed and communicated.

What you'll bring:

  • An agricultural qualification and equivalent practical experience.
  • Previous experience managing agricultural trials, technology research or field-based R&D projects.
  • Experience operating drone technology, with A2 CofC and GVC qualifications (desirable).
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and agricultural data management or statistical analysis software.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
  • A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects and seasonal workloads.
