Trainee Foundry Operative in Worcester

Masstemps are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our foundry team in Worcester as Trainee Foundry Operatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career within a manufacturing and engineering environment. Full training will be provided, so previous foundry experience is not essential.

You will work as part of a busy production team, learning the processes involved in foundry operations while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day foundry and manufacturing operations.
• Follow production procedures and instructions safely and accurately.
• Operate machinery and equipment following full training.
• Prepare materials and components for production.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Follow all company health & safety procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Develop your skills and knowledge across different areas of the foundry.

Previous foundry or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Hours of work: 3 shifts available -- fixed shifts

All roles are Mon - Fri

AM- 6am-2pm

PM -2pm-10pm

Nights 10pm-6am

Rate of pay:

Ranges between £12.71-£16.56 bsed on shift.
