We are currently recruiting for a Wood Assembler to join our client based in Clows Top, near Kidderminster.
The role involves working with timber to manufacture and assemble a range of outdoor products, including gates, sheds, fencing, play areas and other timber structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling timber products to a high standard
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Building gates, sheds, fences and play areas
- Measuring, cutting and fitting timber components
- Working from basic plans and instructions
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Ensuring finished products meet our quality standards
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with timber or in a similar assembly/manufacturing role
- Is confident using hand and power tools
- Has good practical and DIY skills
- Is reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
- Takes pride in producing quality work
- Has good attention to detail
Previous experience in woodworking, carpentry, fencing, joinery or timber assembly would be an advantage, but full training can be provided for the right candidate.
