We are looking for a CNC Operator on behalf of a busy client near the West Bromwich area.
Responsibilities
- Operate, and monitor CNC machines (e.g. milling, turning, or machining centres) to produce cast components to specification
- Load and unload components safely, using lifting equipment where required
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and CNC programs
- Assist in the carrying out tool changes and offsets, with the view to train the right individual in basic program edits to ensure dimensional accuracy
- Perform in-process and final inspections using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometres, gauges)
Hours
07:00am – 16:00pm (Monday to Thursday)
07:00am – 12:30pm (Friday)
Pay Rate
£12.71 – £13.50ph
