Masstemps is currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Setter/Operator to join a well-established and busy manufacturing company based near the Wednesburyarea.
THE ROLE
- . Set up and operate tube laser cutting machines.
- . Produce high-quality components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- . Handle, package, and label finished components to prevent damage and ensure traceability.
- . Complete routine daily, weekly, and monthly machine maintenance checks.
- . Identify and report machine faults or production issues to senior staff promptly.
- . Accurately complete production paperwork and quality documentation.
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience setting and operating tube laser cutting machines.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and inspection standards.
- Competent in carrying out routine machine maintenance and basic fault identification.
- Good attention to detail with the ability to produce work to tight tolerances.
- Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, calipers, and tape measures.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

14:00pm - 22:00pm
PAY RATE
£14.00ph - £15.50ph
