Masstemps is currently recruiting for an experienced Multiskilled Service Engineerto join a well-established and busy manufacturing company based near the Walsall area.
THE ROLE
- Installing, servicing, and maintaining industrial washer systems on client sites and in-house
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control system faults
- Undertake TIG Welding predominately on stainless steel and aluminium to repair machinery and products
- Carrying out routine preventative maintenance and inspections
- Mechanical installation of machinery to manufacturer specifications
- Reading and interpreting technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and service manuals
- Completing service documentation accurately and in a timely manner
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in a multi-skilled mechanical role
- Must have proven experience in TIG welding
- Ability to fault-find across mechanical, electrical, and basic PLC/control systems
- Comfortable reading technical drawings and service documentation
- Full UK driving licence (site work is a requirement of this role - both internationally and nationwide)
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, can-do attitude
HOURS OF WORK
Monday to Thursday 07:00am - 16:00pm
Friday 07:00am - 13:30pm
PAY RATE
£16.50 - £18.00ph. However, negotiable depending on experience (OVERTIME PAID AT TIME AND A THIRD)
