Masstemps are currently recruiting for a full time trainee factory technician to join a well established busy and expanding manufacturing company based in the heart of Droitwich.
The role:
- Preparing customer parts for coating, including pre/ post clean inspection, and chemical cleaning through automated equipment. We handle expensive, often delicate metallic components which require careful attention whilst handling.
- Completing job cards and following route instructions.
- Intricate masking using metallic foil, specialist tape, and wire.
- Media blasting
- Use of hand tools (allen keys, spanners, torque wrench, craft knife)
- Operating computer controlled PVD coating equipment (vacuum chambers), once competent.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will need to have some kind of experience in manufacturing or studied a similar field at college/univeristy.

Hours of work:
08.30 - 17.00 for a minimum of 1 week whilst induction training is carried out, then moving to a two-shift pattern.
06.30 - 14.15 and 14.15 - 21.45, alternating weekly.
Rate of pay:
Starting at £12.71 per hour wiht increase available if progession is made
