Masstemps are currently recruiting for a full time, permanent experienced machine operative to join a busy and expanding engineering company based in the heart of Redditch. The role offers you the opportunity to set out on a long-term career in Engineering, even if you have no prior experience or knowledge of the sector. We are looking for enthusiastic applicants who are practical 'hands on', have great attention to detail and who can work independently and as part of a team within our production department.
Job Details:
- In depth 1-1 training programme on the production and engineering processes
- Learning to operate and set various types of engineering machinery
- Working with various materials such as metal, copper and silver
- Hand and power tool use
- Learning diagnostics and fault finding skills
Due to the rarity of these machines, new employees have to be trained from scratch and the training period is usually 12-18 months!
Hours of work:
- Monday - Thursday: 8.00am - 4.30pm
- Friday: 8.00am - 3.00pm
Rate of pay: Pay rate is based on experience and is subject to regular reviews and increases throughout your training.
