We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Quality Administrator to support the Quality department. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining quality documentation, supporting inspections, and ensuring compliance with the company's Quality Management System (QMS). This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working closely with both office and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Quality department.
- Maintain quality records, documentation, and reports.
- Assist with inspections and quality control activities.
- Use measuring equipment to verify products meet required specifications.
- Liaise effectively between office teams and shop floor personnel.
- Support internal audits and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure quality documentation is completed accurately and within required timescales.
- Assist with non-conformance reporting and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
- Monitor and update Quality Management System (QMS) records.
Skills and Experience
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with quality systems or ISO 9001 is desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with measuring equipment and quality inspection processes would be advantageous.
