THE ROLE

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to accurately fabricate components.
  • Prepare materials by measuring, marking out, cutting, and grinding to specification.
  • Carry out tack welding and complete MIG welds on fabricated assemblies.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets drawing specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment while following all health and safety procedures.

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience in a MIG welding and fabrication role.
  • Ability to confidently read and work from engineering drawings.
  • Skilled in measuring, cutting, grinding, and preparing materials for fabrication.
  • Experience carrying out tack welds and producing high-quality finished welds.
  • Coded welding certification is preferred for structural steel work.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect and verify work against technical drawings.
