Masstemps is currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Setter/Operator to join a well-established and busy manufacturing company based near the Wednesbury area.
THE ROLE
- Prepare and set up laser cutting machines (flatbed or tube) according to job specifications and blueprints.
- Load required programs and parameters into laser control systems
- Select correct tooling, fixtures, clamps, and materials for each job.
- Monitor machine functions during production to maintain operational efficiency and accuracy.
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience setting and operating tube laser cutting machines.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and inspection standards.
- Competent in carrying out routine machine maintenance and basic fault identification.
- Good attention to detail with the ability to produce work to tight tolerances.
- Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, calipers, and tape measures.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Monday to Friday
14:00pm - 22:00pm
PAY RATE
Full-time
