Location: Tipton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Operator / Labourer to join a busy warehouse and yard operation in Tipton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied, hands-on role and is happy to combine forklift driving with general labouring duties in a fast-paced working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to safely move stock and materials around the site
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Coiling and handling copper cables
- Assisting with the storage, movement and preparation of materials
- Carrying out general labouring duties as required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Supporting the warehouse team to meet daily production and dispatch targets
What We're Looking For
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Flexi/Bendi Forklift experience is advantageous but not essential
- Forklift refresher training can be provided for the right candidate
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing or yard experience
- Comfortable carrying out manual handling and labouring duties throughout the day
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a busy environment
