Operate on a 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm shift pattern.

Pay Rate: up to £16.50ph

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate TRUMPF turret punch press machines to manufacture bespoke sheet metal components.
  • Set up and operate Amada press brake machines, producing parts to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Select, install, and change tooling as required for different production runs.
  • Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and production schedules.
  • Adjust machine settings and tooling to achieve required tolerances and product quality.
  • Maintain a safe and organised working environment in accordance with health and safety procedures.
  • Work independently and as part of a production team to meet deadlines and production targets.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience operating TRUMPF turret punch press machines.
  • Experience operating Amada press brakes.
  • Confident with machine setup and tooling changes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience producing bespoke and low-volume sheet metal parts.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing and health & safety procedures.
