Forklift Reach Truck Driver in Bewdley

Masstemps are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Reach Truck Forklift Driverto join our busy warehouse client in Bewdley.

This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who has previous warehouse experience, is confident operating a reach truck, and takes pride in working safely and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a reach truck forklift within the warehouse.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing deliveries.
• Put stock away safely and accurately within warehouse racking.
• Retrieve stock from racking and prepare it for dispatch or production.
• Carry out regular stock movements around the warehouse.
• Assist with stock management and ensure inventory is stored correctly.
• Check deliveries and stock for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
• Ensure goods are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate stock records using warehouse systems and paperwork.
• Assist with picking, packing and preparing orders when required.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, tidy and organised.
• Ensure racking and storage areas are used safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures and warehouse policies.
• Carry out general warehouse duties as required.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous warehouse experience.
• Hold a valid and recognised Reach Truck licence/certificate.
• Be confident operating a reach truck within racking and warehouse environments.
• Have experience loading and unloading vehicles.
• Have good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Have experience with stock control or stock management.
• Be physically fit and comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Have a strong understanding of warehouse health and safety.
• Have a positive attitude and a willingness to get involved with general warehouse duties.

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

Rate of pay: Up to £14 per hour
