Position: Game Mathematician (Remote – Europe & UK Only)
Massive Studios, a leader in the online slot gaming industry, is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Mathematician to join our team. This role involves developing and balancing game math profiles under the supervision of the Head of Math, as well as assisting the development team with game rule queries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine mathematical models for online slot games.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate implementation of game rules.
- Provide feedback and support to other game teams and mathematicians.
Requirements:
- Strong mathematical background, with probability, counting, combinatorics and statistics with avid problem solving skills.
- Fluency with Excel.
- Knowledge of other team collaboration tools, for example, Confluence, JIRA, etc., is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Must be based in Europe (remote position).
Nice to have:
- A relevant degree in Mathematics, MORSE, Physics or alike
- Experience building Monte Carlo simulations in Python, C++ or alike
- Experience with Slot Game maths, either as a Games Mathematician, Developer or Game Auditor
